Some of my Favourite Nail Care Items at Work

Hi guys ! Hope your having a great week so far . This week has really flown !

As I mentioned earlier this week, today I will share some of my favourite nail items for at work (and at home ) . These are products that work amazing on me , if you have an awesome hand cream you love, feel free to give me a few suggestions,I always love to hear about new products. So enough about my rambling, let me get to the goodies.

1 & 2 - Oh So Heavenly Waterless Hand Cleansers
Here I am not to picky about the scent, I love how you can use this on the go and I always carry some in my bag . You never know when you might need to freshen up and won't be able to quickly wash your hands. (They retail for around R9 each )
3 ) Essence Gel Nails At Home Super Rich Hand and Nail Cream -
First off, I REALLY like that these are budget friendly. (About R20) This cream is nice and moisturising and absorbs really quickly . For me this is another huge bonus, as I can't sit and wait for hand creams to absorb at work especially when I type or print out documents.
4 ) Oh So Heavenly Creme Oil Collection Hand Cream -
This is one I love when I have a few minutes spare (or at home ) . These Creme Oil Collection is SUPER moisturising , but takes a little while to completely absorb. (About R25)
5 ) OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers Hand Lotions -
These are my FAVOURITE by far. Not only do these smell amazing , the absorb so quickly and really moisturise your hands fantastically. Currently I have the Pumpkin Butter Juice, Berry Merry Rose Juice , Jasmine and Coconut Melon . I also have a HUGE of the Pumpkin Butter next to my bed that I use before I go to bed at night. But this is my go to lotion at work. I always make sure got a ton of backup bottles of these precious beauties. These are a little pricier though .. You can get these at Perfect 10 for around R40 each.
6 ) Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream -
With the extremely hot weather we were having recently (especially with air cons on that is extra drying on the skin ) this is a super moisturising hand cream. This one is a little greasy, and that's why I usually use it before bedtime. The consistency is almost the same as Vaseline , but this does work wonders. It's also one of my favourites in winter time when it's cooler and your hands dry out quicker. (About R85)
7 ) Hey Gorgeous SA Shea and Mango Hand Mask -
First off, I know this is a hand mask, and I do use it as a mask too. But most nights (especially if I spend some time in the pool or it was extremely hot like the weather we had lately ) I will make sure I dampen my hands first, and then rub a small amount completely into my hands . I will follow this with some cotton moisturising gloves overnight and wake up with baby soft hands. This has a light smell of fresh mangoes (YUM!) I love that this product is Proudly South African and uses completely natural ingredients too.... Pop into their website and check out there awesome products ... Hey Gorgeous SA . They do deliver internationally too . (R120 )

Now , since I know I'm picky about the consistency and texture of creams , I'm showing a photo of each too -
The Essence Gel Nails At Home Super Rich Nail Cream is a thicker cream . It does smell faintly of sunscreen. It might look thicker but this absorbs really fast.
The Oh So Heavenly Creme Oil Hand Creme also has the same consistency as the Essence one. It is a thicker cream and smells fantastic, but since it got nourishing oils, it does take a while to completely absorb.
The OPI Avojuice Skin Quenchers lotion is quite a thin lotion as you can see. But it's super moisturising and really absorbs quickly. I love how it instantly soothes dry hands.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream - As I mentioned above this is a greasy cream that has the same consistency as Vaseline. This one really needs a while to absorb but a little goes a long way though.
The Hey Gorgeous SA hand mask is a nourishing mask (but I use it as a cream too) . This really moisturises fantastically . I use this with some cotton moisturising gloves overnight .

So that's my favourite hand creams . Hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favourites. What is your favourite hand cream ??

Farm Animals Friday !

Hi guys ! Can't believe its Friday already ! First off, happy birthday to my brother, hope you have a fantastic birthday today ♥ So Tip Top's facebook page, has been running weekly nail art theme competitions. This week's theme is FARM ANIMALS. Well, usually I don't enter these nail art competitions, but since my little man loves farm animals , I decided to give it a go . :) (I also bummed some of his farm animal toys and books as decoration... Hee hee hee ) The rules are you have to use Tip Top colours... So first off let me mention all the colours I used creating these cute farm animals : French Manicure White, Cream Puff, Peach Crisp, Sherbet Angel, Melting Marshmallow, Lemon Fuel, Black Forest , Twilight and Sexy Bikini ♥ So here follows all the cute pics (sorry this post is a little picture heavy ...) A cow, a piggy, a cow, a duck and a sheep ♥ I just LOVE these cute farm animals don't you ?? My favourite of

Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer Review and Wear Test

Hi guys. Happy Monday. How was your weekend ?? Today I will be sharing my review on the Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer . I have worn this quite a few times since buying the product - so I have a pretty good idea how it preforms. The colour I got was a typical Lynette colour - The Catrice ICONails Gel Lacquer in Donut Worry be Happy. This is such a gorgeous fun pink colour. The range does have quite a few colour options - and what I do like about the range is that no top coat is needed. So while I always top coat polish or gel polishes - I didn't when I tested this out. Since I did mention I have worn it quite a few times - I always wore it without top coat. The polish dries amazingly fast - and is dry enough to not make dent marks on it within 20 minutes. Which I think is pretty impressive for a polish without top coat. The brush is on the thicker side - making the polish super easy to apply. I prefer nailpolish brushes like this since it's mostly just one swipe on each

CATRICE TREATMENTS SERUM REVIEW

Hi guys! Happy Wednesday. How was your week? I totally lost a day with the public holidays and Easter Weekend threw into the mix ... I was pretty convinced today was actually Tuesday. As I mentioned in my New on my Beauty Desk post in February - I got a few Catrice serums from their new range to try out. In total I picked up the Hydro serum as well - so today I will give you a rundown on the three serums I chose from the range to my routine.  Overall - I have a pretty good idea of which ones I love - which ones are good and which ones I'm not 100% sold on.  CATRICE HYDRO PLUMPING SERUM  This serum contains 1.5 %  hyaluronic acid and panthenol to plumps up the skin as well as have a soothing effect on the skin. Hyaluronic acid is well known to hydrate the skin and absorbs easily into the skin super quickly. I love using Hyaluronic Acid in the morning before applying make-up as it gives me a hydrated base to work with. Honestly, while I did enjoy using this serum - I do prefer the Sw
